Permitted use
You may use the checker and guides for personal writing, classroom instruction, research, and other lawful purposes. You remain responsible for the text you enter and for respecting the rights of others.
Your writing remains yours
We do not claim ownership of poems entered into the checker. Because the tool processes text locally and does not save drafts, you should keep your own copy of work you want to preserve.
No accuracy guarantee
English syllable counts can differ across accents and performances. We aim to make estimates useful and editable, but we do not warrant that every count, definition, or example will be error-free or suitable for every assignment or publication.
Availability and changes
The service may be changed, suspended, or discontinued. These terms and linked policies may also be updated as features, hosting, or advertising practices change.
